ENG 102 -- 23335 MonWed 2:05-3:20pm -- Closed for Grading 4/18
Hello Class,
Below are the instructions for your blog entries intended to provide a forum outside of class for your group members to share their thoughts and ideas regarding the continued or discontinued banned or challenged status of your respective novels. Please begin your blog entries as soon as possible to make the discussion worthwhile.
Final blog entries are due April 15th for classes meeting MonWed or April 16th for classes meeting TuesThurs:
First, choose 3 quotes from your assigned novel and discuss why or why not these quotes are going to help you prove your thesis of whether your novel should or should not be banned. Pay special attention to the reason you give as to why and determine what expert or further research is going to support your reasoning. The discussion for each quote should be 5 to 7 sentences (this length requirement does not include the quote itself. Please include the page number in the novel -- this will allow members of your group to follow your discussion.)
Second, following the same instructions as above, offer 2 quotes from the novel you chose to compare to your assigned novel, offering any significant comparisons and/or contrasting of the two novels.
Finally, offer feedback/questions/recommendations to two of your group members as you consider their quote choices and reasoning.
BE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR FULL NAME TO EACH ENTRY TO ENSURE CREDIT FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE BLOG ASSIGNMENT.
